The singer passed away on Thursday afternoon, October 29, according to a statement released by The chairman of the Anambra chapter, Performing Musician Association of Nigeria, Ikeme Mazeli. Three dead as woman beheaded in France, gunman killed in second incident

A knife-wielding attacker shouting "Allahu Akbar" beheaded a woman and killed two other people in a suspected terrorist act at a church in the French city of Nice on Thursday, while a man waving a gun was shot dead by police in a separate incident. Within hours of the Nice attack, police killed a man who had threatened passersby with a handgun in Montfavet, near the southern French city of Avignon. He was also shouting "Allahu Akbar" (God is Greatest), according to radio station Europe 1. Nice's mayor, Christian Estrosi, said the attack in his city had happened in or near Notre Dame church and was similar to the beheading earlier this month near Paris of teacher Samuel Paty, who had used cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad in a civics class. Nigerian Rapper, Ladipoe, has tested positive for Coronavirus. The rapper made this known via his Instagram story. According to him, his symptoms are mild and he his currently on isolation. ''I recently received the results for my COVID-19 test and it was positive. I have been in isolation for about 10 days now. Die to the state of affairs in the country, this Monday was the earliest I could get tested," he wrote. "My symptoms have been mild and I’m getting better every day. Please continue to take the necessary safety precautions when you’re out to protect yourself and your loved ones. Not everyone has mild symptoms. This is definitely something to be taken seriously.”

Nigeria too fragile for another round of lockdown - President Muhammadu Buhari.

The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has stated that the country's economy is too fragile to bear another round of lockdown. The president, reacting to recent surge in the number of coronavirus cases in some countries, which has led some to another round of lockdown, with France as a case study, advised that all hands must be on deck to avert a second wave of covid-19 in the country. "Looking at the trends in the other countries, we must do all we can to avert a second wave of Covid-19 in Nigeria. We must make sure that our cases, which have gone down, do not rise again. Our economy is too fragile to bear another round of lockdown," Buhari said.

Poland's President tests positive for Coronavirus.

Poland's President, Andrzej Duda, has tested positive for COVID-19, but is feeling good, presidential minister Blazej Spychalski announced on Twitter on Saturday. "The president yesterday was tested for the presence of coronavirus. The result turned out to be positive. The president is fine. We are in constant contact with the relevant medical services," Spychalski said.

Lady dies after surgery saw her bum injected with industrial silicone.

 A 34-year-old woman has died following a failed cosmetic operation in which industrial silicone she bought herself was injected into her bottom. The fitness buff died hours after she underwent an operation at a clinic in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Patricia Rodrigues dos Santos on 21st October visited the clinic and paid BRL 2,152 (£294) for an operation that involved injecting silicone into her butt. Reports revealed that she bought the silicone herself for the clinic to use, unaware it was an unlicensed beauty salon. It is believed her operation was carried out by a message therapist, who discharged Patricia at around 9pm on the same day. After the surgery, Patricia went home complaining of dizziness and even suffered nausea before being rushed to the A&E in the early hours of October 22. Man imprisoned for 3 years after having sex with his pet chickens including dead ones while his wife filmed him.

A 37 year old 'sick' man who had sex with his pet chickens while his wife filmed him has been jailed for three years. Rehan Baig, was arrested after a police tip-off that he had images of child abuse of children as young as six. Police also found pictures of Baig and his wife Haleema, 38, carrying out sex acts on a dog and footage of him having sex with his pet chickens including one that was dead. The video and photo clips were saved in a file called ‘Family Vids’ and were described in court as ‘first-generation, homemade movies’ featuring the couple performing bestiality. Some of them were ‘of some duration in length’. In July 2019, their home in Bradford was raided by the National Crime Agency, by which time there were no dogs or chickens in the house. Among the files they found were pictures of two dead chickens on the floor while Rehan Baig put one of the dead animals in a binbag. The chickens, all family pets, died as a result of Mr Baig’s constant bestiality.

The former First Lady of the United States of America, Hillary Clinton, has called on the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, to put an end to the killings of innocent citizens protesting against police brutality and extra-judicial killings. The call came after the videos of the Nigerian Army shooting at protesters at Lekki toll gate made rounds across socia media platforms. Cameras were uninstalled and light were put off before and during the shooting, which has led to the death of not fewer than 7 people and many injured. Four people confirmed dead at the Lekki Toll Gate protest site after security agents open fire on peaceful protesters still on the road after the Lagos state announcement of a curfew, set to begin at 4:00 p.m. this evening. Sources on ground via an Instagram live stream confirmed this. Earlier this evening, the CCTV cameras at the toll gate and the LED panel were removed and turned off.   Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has on Tuesday Oct. 20, imposed a 24-hour curfew on all parts of the state, from 4pm. This is as a result of unrest and tension caused by criminals and miscreants under the guise of #EndSARS protesters. The governor expressed shocked at how a very peaceful protest has degenerated into a monster that is threatening the well-being of the society. The Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has stated that the Nigerian economy has lost over N700 billion to the #EndSARS protest over the last 12 days. Young Thug's driver threaten to sue him after an alleged assault.

Young Thug's personal driver for over 7-8 years is threatening to sue the rapper after he allegedly caused him to be assaulted. Derrick Thrasher claims Young Thug invited him to a party in L.A. back in May, where he got into an argument with another rapper named Lil Duke. Thrasher, according to lawyers, took the high road, and left the party to avoid a fight. However, duty called and  the driver had to go back to the party, and that's when he claims he was viciously assaulted and beaten. In the letter, sent to Young Thug, Thrasher's attorneys -- Paul M. Aloise Jr. and Ryan P. Molaghan -- say their client was held down, punched, kicked and had a liquor bottle smashed over his head. He claims he ended up needing surgery. The driver is now threatening a lawsuit against Young Thug and Lil Duke's record label, 300 Entertainment, if they can't agree on a settlement. TMZ

Indonesia: Jobs law protesters take to streets again on Tuesday

Thousands of students from the National Association of University Student Executive Bodies (BEM SI) are set to take to the streets again on Tuesday to demand that President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo revoke the recently passed Job Creation Law. BEM SI coordinator Remy Hastian said on Monday that Tuesday’s rally would be held near the State Palace in the Medan Merdeka area of Central Jakarta. "The rally will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with an estimated 5,000 students from all over Indonesia joining,” Remy said in a written statement. Remy added that the students resented the government's reaction to the series of massive protests that began after the passage of the bill into law on Oct. 5.  A top Lebanese security official has tested positive for COVID-19 in the United States, his department said on Monday, forcing him to delay his return from talks in Washington and to cancel scheduled meetings in Paris. Major-General Abbas Ibrahim is in good health, the directorate of General Security, which he heads, added in a tweet. Ibrahim met U.S. national security adviser Robert O'Brien at the White House last week to discuss American citizens held in Syria, the Wall Street Journal reported. A Trump administration official confirmed that a White House official traveled to Damascus earlier this year for secret meetings with the Syrian government seeking the release of two U.S. citizens thought to be held there. Last month Ibrahim held talks in Paris with French intelligence chief Bernard Emie about the formation of a new government to tackle Lebanon's grave economic crisis, a Lebanese official said. #EndSARS : Lagos shutdown schools indefinitely

 The Lagos State Government has shutdown all schools in the state until further notice over tension arising from the ongoing #EndSARS protest. The Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adeisayo, issued the directive on Monday, stating that the safety of the pupils and students, parents and all staff working in schools is of immense importance at this critical period. She, however, advised parents to keep an eye on their wards and not allow them to be used as willing tools in the hands of those who might want to hijack the protests to unleash mayhem on the society. The commissioner also encouraged schools to utilize other means of distance teaching and learning i.e radio, television and online media as they have been doing during and post the recent COVID-19 lockdown. Adefisayo stated that a new date of resumption for all classes will be announced as soon as possible.

Louisiana rapper, JayDaYoungan, was arrested this past weekend on multiple felony charges, including three counts of fugitive from justice, battery and family violence. The rapper was booked on Saturday and was also denied bond. So far, no further details have been disclosed.  Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus while on international duty for Portugal. The Portuguese skipper, is asymptomatic and is self-isolating as regulations demand. He will play no part in Portugal's clash with Sweden. The Portugal's Football Federation said in a statement: "Cristiano Ronaldo was released from the work of the National Team after a positive test for COVID-19, so he will not face Sweden. "The Portuguese international is doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation.  Nigeria recorded 164 new cases of coronavirus on Monday Oct. 12, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC. John Boyega joins the #EndSARS protest.

As the ongoing protest for the outright end to activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in different part of Nigeria, various celebrities are lending their voices to the course, with actor John Boyega, the latest to join the #EndSARS protest. Constant harassment, brutalization and unwarranted killings by SARS, are  the main reason for the protest. John Boyega, on Friday joined the protest by posting series of tweets with the hashtag #EneSARS, on his Official Twitter page.
