Trump to lift Sudan from State Sponsors of Terrorism list.
President Donald Trump has stated that he will lift Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, following an agreement by the Sudanese government to pay $335 million to U.S. terror victims and families.
Trump disclosed in a tweet on Monday, that immediate lifting of Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism, will be effected as soon as the money is deposited.
"Great New! New government of Sudan, which is making progress to pay $335 MILLION to U.S. terror victims and families. Once deposited, I will lift Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list. At long last, JUSTICE for the American people and a BIG step for Sudan!," Trump tweeted.

Prime Minister of Sudan, Abdalla Hamdok, responded with an appreciation tweet, "Thank you so much, President Trump! We very much look forward to your notification to congress rescinding the designation of Sudan as a State-sponsor of terrorism, which has cost Sudan too much."
