Vice president of Nigeria, prof. Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, are now grandparents. This is coming as the daughter of the VP, Oludamilola and her husband, Oluseun Bakare, welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Osinbajo took to Twitter to share the good news.

Princess Eugenie has been helping package parcels for food banks alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank. The princess, who is the Queen's sixth grandchild, revealed they 'jumped at the chance' to volunteer with the Salvation Army charity to help those struggling financially. The youngest daughter of the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, said in an Instagram post on Wednesday: 'Since 1865 the Salvation Army has been there with open doors to help so many people. 'In the past few years I have witnessed first hand their dedication and hard work, so when they invited Jack and I to their newly-created hub to pack boxes, we jumped at the chance. 'As a group of volunteers we helped pack trolleys of food that are then taken and distributed to the Army's hugely important and much-needed food banks that feed thousands across the UK. Prophet Odumeje should be arrested for abusing the Naira - HURIWA

Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has urged the Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele, to order the arrest of the controversial Onitsha based prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere also known as Odumeje. HURIWA wants Odumeje arrested for his serial abuses of the Nigerian naira and other denominations during his public ceremonies in Onitsha. The National Coordinator Emmanuel Onwubiko and the National Media Affairs Director, Zainab Yusuf on Sunday in a statement said it had resolved to write officially to the Minister of Finance, CBN governor and President Muhammadu Buhari to implore them to defend the naira against global defacing of the naira notes. “We have watched with disappointments as this self-professed prophet Odumuje kept abusing and defacing the national currency and both the Police and the CBN have failed for many months to stamp their authorities and prosecute these serial abusers of the national currency,”the statement reads. “We ask the C

World cup winner, Alex Morgan gives birth to a baby girl.

Two-time women's World Cup winner Alex Morgan and husband Servando Carrasco have welcomed a new player to their team, announcing the birth of daughter Charlie Elena Carrasco on Saturday. Morgan tweeted that the baby was born on Thursday. "She made us wait longer than expected, but I should have known she would do it her way and her way only. My super moon baby," Morgan wrote. Morgan, 30, was due to give birth in April and said on ABC's "Good Morning America" earlier in the week that she hoped to give birth within the week. Morgan, who also won Olympic gold with the US women's team, announced that she was pregnant in October, when she said she still intended to play for the USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She did light training with the national team in February. But with the Tokyo Games postponed a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Morgan will have even more time to prepare. World Oldest Man Dies at 112

A 112-year-old Japanese man recognised as the world’s oldest living man earlier this month has died, local media reported on Tuesday.  Chitetsu Watanabe, a resident of the central Japanese city of Joetsu, died on Sunday, Kyodo News reported.  Born on March 5, 1907, Watanabe, lived in a nursing home. He received an official certificate as the world’s oldest living man from Guinness World Records on Feb. 12. After graduating from agricultural school, Watanabe moved to Taiwan to work at a Japanese sugar production company there. Watanabe returned to Niigata, his hometown, after the war and worked as a civil servant until his retirement.  Watanabe had five children, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, according to Kyodo.  The world’s oldest living person, Kane Tanaka, also lives in Japan. She celebrated her 117-year-old birthday in January
