Four Minneapolis police officers were fired on Tuesday after video emerged showing an officer pinning his knee against the neck of an unarmed black man who died following the arrest.  Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo announced during a press conference that the officers involved in the arrest were now "former employees,"  CBS Minnesota reported . The officers have not been named.  "This is the right call," Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey (D) wrote in a tweet immediately following the announcement.  The decision came amid escalating outrage over footage showing a police officer pinning a black man to the pavement as he yelled "I cannot breathe!" A nurse has been accused of stealing credit card of a dying COVID-19 patient in the United States. Danielle Conti, 43, is been accused by the daughter of late Anthony Catapano for stealing and using the credit card of her father whilst he lay dying from coronavirus in  hospital. The Staten Island University Teaching Hospital North in New York nurse was accused of using the credit card to make purchases of groceries and petrol worth a total of $60. The daughter of the deceased, narrates the story saying she normally doesn't track his spending closely. However, she said she alerted police when she received a credit card statement for petrol, which her dad always paid for with cash, and she noticed it was bought on April 9 while her dad was fighting for his life. She said: "Obviously, I knew it had to be a hospital employee because visitors weren't really allowed." The white father and son accused of fatally shooting 25-year-old black jogger Ahmaud Arbery earlier this year were reportedly denied bond by a judge on Friday, just one day after their arrest. According to multiple local reports,   a Glynn County, Ga., Superior Court judge denied bond to Gregory and Travis McMichael during their first court appearance on Friday. The two were arrested on murder and aggravated assault charges late Thursday, more than two months after Arbery was fatally shot while out on a run. He was unarmed. Arbery was killed Feb. 23 just outside the port city of Brunswick, Ga., after the two men allegedly chased him in a pickup claiming that they thought he was burglar responsible for a series of break-ins in the area. Authorities said Travis McMichael shot Arbery during the exchange.

Details have emerged of how a 19-year old boy, Rafiu Adelena, allegedly drugged and raped his 52-year old landlady in Ogun state. According to P.M.EXPRESS, the crime took place on 1st March, 2020, at Ilesan Remo community in Ogun State, where they reside. The suspect was staying with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adelena in rented apartment before he conceived the idea to sleep with the landlady in order to satisfy his sexual desire.
