Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has officially declared his interest in the race to be president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023. Peter Obi tweeted "Dear Nigerians. I am here to inform you all that I will be aspiring for the post of President of Nigeria in 2023. -PO."

Elon Musk and Grimes secretly welcomed their second child in December.

Singer Grimes and Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk have welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. The little girl was born via surrogate in December last year, Grimes revealed in a wide-ranging interview with Vanity Fair published on Thursday. Although the 33-year-old Canadian musician apparently had no intention of announcing the birth of their second child, nicknamed "Y," she shared the news after Vanity Fair journalist Devin Gordon overheard a baby crying. Grimes and Musk previously welcomed a son named X Æ A-Xii -- pronounced: "X A.I. Archangel," or "X"-- in May 2020. Musk, 48, has five other children -- twins Griffin and Xavier and triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai -- from a previous marriage.

Chelsea up for sale, Abramovich confirms.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has confirmed that he is selling the club. The Russian billionaire arrived in the English capital in 2003 and Chelsea have won five Premier Leagues and two Champions Leagues under his ownership. Conor McGregor has already hinted he could make a bid for the club while Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss has revealed he's been offered the chance to purchase the Blues as part of a consortium. In a statement on Chelsea's official website, Abramovich said: "I would like to address the speculation in media over the past few days in relation to my ownership of Chelsea FC. As I have stated before, I have always taken decisions with the club’s best interest at heart. "In the current situation, I have therefore taken the decision to sell the club, as I believe this is in the best interest of the club, the fans, the employees, as well as the club’s sponsors and partners. Russian teams suspended by FIFA and UEFA

FIFA and UEFA said they are suspending all Russian national and club soccer teams from competition until further notice. The UEFA soccer league also said it's ending its partnership with Russian gas company Gazprom. "The decision is effective immediately and covers all existing agreements including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA national team competitions and UEFA EURO 2024," UEFA said.
