Trump to lift Sudan from State Sponsors of Terrorism list.

 President Donald Trump has stated that he will lift Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, following an agreement by the Sudanese government to pay $335 million to U.S. terror victims and families. Trump disclosed in a tweet on Monday, that immediate lifting of Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism, will be effected as soon as the money is deposited. "Great New! New government of Sudan, which is making progress to pay $335 MILLION to U.S. terror victims and families. Once deposited, I will lift Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list. At long last, JUSTICE for the American people and a BIG step for Sudan!," Trump tweeted. — Donald J. Chinese man who called President Xi Jinping a 'clown' has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Ren Zhiqiang, the former chairman of Huayuan, a state-owned real estate group has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for corruption. Ren, an influential critic of the Chinese Communist party was put under investigation for " serious violations of discipline and the law," after he suggested president Xi Jinping was a "clown" over his handling of the coronavirus outbreak. Ren was sentenced to 18 years in prison and also fined 4.2m yuan, Beijing No. 2 Intermediate Court said on its website on Tuesday. The Court verdict said that Ren, 69, "voluntarily and truthfully confessed all his crimes," and would not appeal the court's decision.

China and India agrees to de-escalate border situation.

Chinese foreign ministry has said that China and India have agreed to de-escalate border situation as soon as possible following a clash between their troops. According to a report by Reuters, Senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi told Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar during a phone conversation on Wednesday that India should punish severely anyone that has a hand in the conflict between the two countries and also control its frontline troops, the Chinese ministry said in a statement. Both have blamed each other for the clash on Monday, which saw no fewer than 20 Indian Soldiers lose their lives.
