Brazil has reported 32,091 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday June 9. The South American country has now seen over 30,000 new cases in a 24-hour period for the fourth time  since the outbreak began. Brazil has now reported a total of 739,503 infections with 38,406 fatalities, according to it's Health Ministry.

Number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia continued to increase with the announcement of 684 new cases of the deadly bug. Spokesperson for the handling of the virus in the country, Achmad Yurianto, made this known during the daily briefing at the BNPB office Jakarta on Wednesday June 6. Total number of cases in the country now stands at 28,233, with 8,406 discharged and and 1,698 deaths recorded.

China reports 10 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases.

China registered 5 new coronavirus cases on June 1, down from 16 a day earlier, the National Health Comission said on Tuesday. All of the new cases were so-called imported infections from travelers overseas. The mainland also reported 10 new asymptomatic cases - those who are infected but do not show symptoms - compared with 16 a day earlier. The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 83,022, while the death toll remained unchanged at 4,634.
