Anambra records 17 new cases as coronavirus cases in Nigeria rise above 12,000.


Nigeria have now recorded over 12,000 cases of the novel coronavirus.


The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced that the country recorded 389 new cases of the virus on Saturday June 6.




Nigeria has now recorded a total of 12,233 cases of the virus, the third most in the continent, 3,826 cases have been discharged, while 342 fatalities have been recorded.
