Indonesia records 684 new cases of COVID-19; total cases tops 28,000.

Number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia continued to increase with the announcement of 684 new cases of the deadly bug.


Spokesperson for the handling of the virus in the country, Achmad Yurianto, made this known during the daily briefing at the BNPB office Jakarta on Wednesday June 6.


Total number of cases in the country now stands at 28,233, with 8,406 discharged and and 1,698 deaths recorded.

A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. Police in Lusaka says they have instituted an inquiry into the death of a 42-year-old woman who allegedly died in the Parish Priest’s House at Kaunda Square Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Fr. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode are all found wanting for cybercrimes, in which their victims were defrauded of more than $6 million dollars via BEC fraud scheme and Romance fraud scheme, following Investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
