"I miss being Stanley - Nigerian musician Omah Lay reflects on life before fame



  Nigerian musician Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, reflected on his life before fame while also announcing his new EP, " WHAT HAVE WE DONE", scheduled for release at midnight.

"This time last year i was holed up in my tiny room singing my guts out, not knowing if people would ever hear or even appreciate these song," the 'Bad Influence' singer said in a tweet on Thursday.

The sensational singer gained prominence in 2020 after his debut single 'YOU' went viral. He started off as a producer and a songwriter.

His relentless hardwork and creativity earned him a nomination in this year's Headies alongside Big Brother Naija winner Laycon, and Bella Shmurda.

Omah Lay went on to reveal that the simple things of life went away with his newly found fame, "I miss being Stanley!!!," he said.

His new project "WHAT HAVE WE DONE" drops midnight, a five track EP.
