Naomi Osaka out of the French Open due to injury.

Two time US Open Tennis champion Naomi Osaka has opted out of the coming French Open due to an hamstring injury.

Osaka revealed this in a post on her Twitter page.

"My hamstring is still sore so I won't have enough time to prepare for the clay - these two tournaments came too close to each other for me this time," Osaka wrote as she thanked her fans and promised to return stronger and sooner.


Last weekend, Osaka, came back from a set down to claim victory over Victoria Azarenka in the US Open Tennis Championship finals.

The French Open kicks off on Monday 21st September

A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house.
