Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo has joined the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon, Kevin Garnett, David Robinson, and Michael Jordan, as the only five players to have secured the MVP and DYOP in the history of the NBA.

Giannis Antetokounmpo beat out Rudy Gobert and Anthony Davis to clinch the 2019-20 Defensive Player of the Year.

While Giannis has been impressive on the offensive side of the court, averaging 29.5 points and 5.6 assists, his defensive numbers have been equally as stellar. Giannis is averaging 13.6 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game. His dominant play on both sides has led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 56-17 record and the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff bracket.

A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. Police in Lusaka says they have instituted an inquiry into the death of a 42-year-old woman who allegedly died in the Parish Priest’s House at Kaunda Square Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Fr. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode are all found wanting for cybercrimes, in which their victims were defrauded of more than $6 million dollars via BEC fraud scheme and Romance fraud scheme, following Investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
