Femi Fani-Kayode regrets and apologize for his choice of words during encounter with Journalist.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has withdrawn the word 'stupid' which he used in a verbal attack against a Daily Trust reporter in a press conference in Calabar.

Fani-Kayode in a tweet stated that he is truly sorry for his choice is of words and expressed his uttermost regret.

He also stated that no threat of physical harm was ever made to the Journalist in question and challenged anyone who says otherwise to bring forth the proof.

"I met with my advisors & I wish to say the following. I hereby withdraw the word "stupid" which I used in my encounter with a journalist in Calabar. I have many friends in the media who I offended by losing my cool & using such words. I hereby express my regrets for doing so.1/4

..I do however wish to state categorically that no threat of physical harm was ever made to the journalist in question and neither did I send anyone to threaten him. Anyone that says otherwise is lying and I challenge them to bring the proof. 2/4

..I would never seek to physically harm a journalist. For the last 30 years I have defended & worked with journalists & fought for the right of freedom of exiression. I am  also very close to many in that profession. I would be the last to seek to disparage those that are..3/4

...honorable and noble within its ranks. I hope that this will assuage the pain and anger of anyone that was hurt or offended by this ugly episode. I have now put this matter behind me and moved on. Now my tour of the South continues. Moving to another state today!"

A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode are all found wanting for cybercrimes, in which their victims were defrauded of more than $6 million dollars via BEC fraud scheme and Romance fraud scheme, following Investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
