Just In: Governor Akeredolu picks running mate.

GOVERNOR Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has picked a former representative of the state on the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa as his deputy. Ayedatiwa is from oil-rich ilaje council area of the state.

He is expected to run with Akeredolu in the October 10 election if his name was not substituted before August 18, 2020 deadline by INEC. Recall that Akeredolu estranged former deputy, Hon Agboola Ajayi had since defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party and contested for the party’s governorship primary but lost to Eyitayo Jegede SAN. Agboola came second in the election.

The unnamed blonde stripped off and made her colourful protest after appearing before a judge. She was held at about 8pm yesterday in the Costa del Sol resort of Torremolinos after annoying neighbours who had applauded emergency services for their work in the fight against coronavirus. A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. Police in Lusaka says they have instituted an inquiry into the death of a 42-year-old woman who allegedly died in the Parish Priest’s House at Kaunda Square Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Fr. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode are all found wanting for cybercrimes, in which their victims were defrauded of more than $6 million dollars via BEC fraud scheme and Romance fraud scheme, following Investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
