Nigeria nears 10,000 COVID-19 cases.

Nigeria recorded 553 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday May 30.


The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, confirmed that the country has seen 553 new cases of the deadly Coronavirus across different states.


State by State breakdown of the new cases are as follows.

Ogun-13

Kaduna-12

Kano-9

Borno-7

Katsina-6

Jigawa-5 

Oyo-5

Total number of cases in the country now stands at 9,855 , with 2,856  discharged and 273 deaths recorded.

The unnamed blonde stripped off and made her colourful protest after appearing before a judge. She was held at about 8pm yesterday in the Costa del Sol resort of Torremolinos after annoying neighbours who had applauded emergency services for their work in the fight against coronavirus. She was filmed resisting arrest with her clothes on at first, but stripped off as she got to court. She also took her clothes off after being released on bail by a judge and getting on top of the police vehicle. After being hit with a truncheon and pinned to the ground, she was taken to a waiting ambulance. She has been described as a 41-year-old Spanish national. A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. Police in Lusaka says they have instituted an inquiry into the death of a 42-year-old woman who allegedly died in the Parish Priest’s House at Kaunda Square Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Fr. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States.
