Virologist and epidemiologist, Dr. Joseph Fair confirms he has contracted the novel coronavirus.


The NBC News and MSNBC science contributor mad the announcement on his official Twitter account.


He tweeted, "My friends wondering where I’ve been: I came down with #COVID19 & am hospitalized. I’m on the other end of it, but not out of the woods yet. Please continue to social distance. I used max precautions, but still managed to contract it. Back as soon as I’m able, friends. #StaySafe 


Dr. Fair also went ahead to express his profound gratitude to his caregivers as well as the NBC news and MNSBC family.


Fair wrote, "Thank you to my wonderful caregivers & my @NBCNews @MSNBC family. Thank you all  for prayers or good thoughts.

A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. Police in Lusaka says they have instituted an inquiry into the death of a 42-year-old woman who allegedly died in the Parish Priest’s House at Kaunda Square Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Fr. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode are all found wanting for cybercrimes, in which their victims were defrauded of more than $6 million dollars via BEC fraud scheme and Romance fraud scheme, following Investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
