Brazil: Deaths from coronavirus near 10,000.

Brazil's death toll from COVID-19 has risen to 9,897 with 751 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the country's Ministry of Health said on Friday.


Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases reached 145,328 with 10,222 new cases registered in the last 24 hours.


The state of Sao Paulo, the most populous state in the country, has been hit the hardest by COVID-19, with 3,416 deaths and 41,830 confirmed cases, followed by Rio de Janeiro with 1,503 deaths and 15,741 cases, and Ceara with 966 deaths and 14,956 cases.

The unnamed blonde stripped off and made her colourful protest after appearing before a judge. She was held at about 8pm yesterday in the Costa del Sol resort of Torremolinos after annoying neighbours who had applauded emergency services for their work in the fight against coronavirus. She was filmed resisting arrest with her clothes on at first, but stripped off as she got to court. She also took her clothes off after being released on bail by a judge and getting on top of the police vehicle. After being hit with a truncheon and pinned to the ground, she was taken to a waiting ambulance. She has been described as a 41-year-old Spanish national. A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. Police in Lusaka says they have instituted an inquiry into the death of a 42-year-old woman who allegedly died in the Parish Priest’s House at Kaunda Square Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Fr. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode are all found wanting for cybercrimes, in which their victims were defrauded of more than $6 million dollars via BEC fraud scheme and Romance fraud scheme, following Investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
