Nashville is my home said Taylor Swift as she donates 1million dollars to help Tennessee recover from Tornado.


Music star Taylor Swift has donated the sum of 1 million dollars to the Tennessee Tornado  to aid recovery after Deadly pair of Tornadoes hit the state last week.

The 30-year-old singer called Nashville her home and was bitter at the disaster that left many people homeless.

The singer moved to Nashville at 14 with her father  whose job as a stockbroker at Merril Lynch was relocated to music City. Taylor was born in Pennsylvania.

Following her donation of $500k in 2010, after a major flood, Nashville definitely has a special spot in Taylor's heart.

She went further to urge her 127 million fan to also make their own donations.
