Champions League Round of 16 first leg; Newbies with the Edge

Newcomers Atalanta Took a huge step towards the quarter-finals stage of the Champions league as they hit four past Valencia in Wednesday UEFA Champions league round of 16 1st leg tie in Italy.

Goals in the 16th,42nd,57th and 62nd minutes gave the Italian a big advantage going into the second let in spain in what can be seen as a mere formality.

With Tonights performance, they have certainly staked a claim that they are no pushover in this year's competition.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho's Tottenham were stunned by Bundesliga side Leipzig in London. A lone goal from the spot by Talisman, Timo Werner was enough to give the German side an advantage going into to the second leg.
Jose Mourinho and Tottenham now have an uphill task in the second leg in Germany. Can they overturn the deficit and make it to the next round?.

Meanwhile Liverpool and PSG both lost their matches on Tuesday to Athletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund respectively; Liverpool lost to an early goal from Saul Niguez in the 4th minute, while Haaland fired Dortmund with his Brace against the french Champions.

A Catholic priest, identified as Father  Abel Mwelwa , has been suspended in Lusaka, Zambia, after his married lover allegedly died during a marathon sex in his house. The deceased, who was a member of the Catholic Women’s League from St Maurice Catholic Church, had lied to her husband that she was going to a funeral but ended up with the priest. The United States Government has today Tuesday June 16, filed indictments against six high profile Nigerians for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode are all found wanting for cybercrimes, in which their victims were defrauded of more than $6 million dollars via BEC fraud scheme and Romance fraud scheme, following Investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
