OAP Nedu Wazobia responds to ex-wife's accusations, denies allegations.

OAP Nedu Wazobia has finally responded to an alleged assault and battery accusation by his ex-wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri. Nedu ex-wife called him out on social media claiming that the OAP subjected her to physical assault weeks after she delivered via caesarean section. In an Instagram post, Nedu stated that he has never been the one to physically violate anybody including his ex-wife. Nedu went further to explain that their marriage suffered a lot of issues, which includes continuous infidelity from the side of Uzoamaka. He also released a DNA test report which show that he is not the father of their first child. Annie Idibia took to her Instagram Stories to slam husband, singer, Tuface Idibia, his family and his children's mothers. The actress wrote to Tuface in the now deleted post, "Your baby mamas constantly use your children as an excuse for all sort of rubbish." She added that she has been patient and she has made so many sacrifices for Tuface and his kids, but she's no fool. She went on to say that Tuface's family never liked her from the get go, no matter how hard she tried. She then called Tuface out for sleeping under the same roof with his children's mother, Pero Adeniyi, when he's visiting the kids they share. She also called out Tuface's brother, Hyacinth Idibia, for housing the singer, his kids and Pero under the same roof.

US evacuation from Afghanistan extraordinary success —Biden

President Joe Biden called the US airlift of more than 120,000 people from Afghanistan an “extraordinary success” Tuesday, a day after the last US soldiers pulled out of the country. “We completed one of the biggest airlifts in history,” Biden said. “No nation has ever done anything like it in all of history; only the United States had the capacity and the will and ability to do it,” he said. According to reports, Vanessa Bryant has settled a lawsuit filed against her by her mother. Sofia Laine sued her daughter after claiming she wasn't compensated for her duties as a nanny to Vanessa's and Kobe's children for nearly 20 years. Laine also claimed that Kobe said she would be taken care of for the rest of her life, however, was kicked out of the house they bought for her when Kobe died in January 2020.  Vanessa called the lawsuit "frivolous, disgraceful and unimaginably hurtful," adding, "my husband never promised my mother anything, and he would be so disappointed in her behavior and lack of empathy." Blessing Okagbare suspended after failed drugs test

Sprinter Blessing Okagbare is out of the Tokyo Olympics after being suspended for failing a drugs test. The Nigerian - a rival to Great Britain's Dina Asher-Smith - had won her 100m heat on Friday and was due to race in the semi-finals on Saturday. The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) said the 32-year-old had tested positive for a human growth hormone following an out-of-competition test on 19 July. The AIU said Okagbare was notified of her provisional suspension on Saturday. It added it would not be making any further comment at this stage. Okagbare, Olympic long jump silver medallist in Beijing in 2008, had posted a time of 11.05 seconds in her 100m heat and was set to line up against Asher-Smith and Jamaica's Elaine Thompson-Herath in the first semi-final. The hashtag #Nomorepress followed Halsey's tweet where she blasted Allure Magazine over claims that they disrespected and misquoted her deliberately in their article. This suggest that the new mom will no longer entertain the press  claiming  she often gets exploited and misquoted. She cited the deliberate omission of her pronouns by the Allure Magazine writer and also accused the admin of bastardizing a quote where she discussed the privilege of being the white child of a black parent.

Heavy rainfall in central China's Henan province has killed 12 people in its capital Zhengzhou and has led to the relocation of about 100,000 people to safe zones, state media Xinhua reported on Wednesday (Jul 21), citing the local government. Both Henan province and Zhengzhou municipal meteorological bureaus raised the emergency response for the disaster to level 1, with forecasts predicting heavy rains in the province to last until Wednesday night, Xinhua reported. The already drenched city of Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, was hit by 20cm of rain from 4pm to 5pm, the official Xinhua News Agency said, citing the Henan weather agency. The torrent of rain turned streets into rapidly flowing rivers and inundated subways stations and cars. But, in 2015, her Walmart job – located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin – fired her after they abruptly changed her work shift schedule to one that was a conflict for her. Back in 2014, the store implemented a new scheduling system that analyzes the amount of customer traffic so that there can be enough staffing during specific busy hours. 1,387 more coronavirus cases reported in Tokyo on July 20

The Japanese capital has recorded more than 1,000 coronavirus infections for the sixth time in the past week, with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government reporting 1,387 new cases on July 20. The new cases came after Tokyo registered 727 infections on July 19. Tokyo remains under a fourth COVID-19 state of emergency as it prepares to launch the Olympic Games on July 23. The capital saw an average of 631.7 coronavirus cases per day in the first week of July. The daily average for the second week rose to 823.3. In June, Tokyo recorded a total of 12,979 new coronavirus cases, or a daily average of 432.6, down from the daily average of 705.8 in May. By July 19, a total of 2,270 people had died of COVID-19 in Tokyo since the pandemic began in the spring of 2020. Tokyo has recorded 191,230 infections to date, the most of any of Japan's 47 prefectures. As of July 19, there were 2,346 COVID-19 patients in hospital, 60 with severe symptoms. (Mainichi)

Nine gang members escape jail via a dug hole.

Nine alleged members of Brazil's most violent gang were filmed fleeing from a police station after digging a tunnel out of their cell.   The brazen escape took place approximately 3am Sunday when the inmates believed to be part of the Primeiro Comando da Capital gang managed to break free from the police precinct in Campina da Lagoa. The suspects reportedly had dug hole inside one of the cells and then excavated a tunnel which led them to the station's courtyard area. Surveillance video showed the detainees jumping off the top of a wall before they ran down a road.  One of the escapees - identified as Robson Bueno - was recaptured hours later.  Bueno was apprehended by the Civil Police while he was hiding out at a former girlfriend’s home on Sunday afternoon, according to Brazilian online news portal G1.  Seven of the prisoners still on the run were identified as José Rahmen; Lourival Masiero; Francisco Vaz; Savio Borges; Givanildo Paulo; Carlos Ferreira; and Edson
