Former Miss America dead at 70.

 Former Miss America Phyllis George has died. She was 70. Phyllis died from a blood disorder on Thursday, a problem she first discovered in her 30s, according to the Louisville Courier Journal. George, the 1971 Miss America, joined  The NFL Today  in 1975, along with Brent Musburger, Irv Cross, and Jimmy “The Greek” Snyder. She was a pioneer for women in sports broadcasting, at a time when the CBS pregame show was appointment viewing for football fans throughout the country. George remained on the program for three seasons, returning in 1980 and exiting again in 1983. She went on to do many things in TV and beyond, including becoming the First Lady of Kentucky and having a small but memorable role in  Meet The Parents .  Survivors include two children, including CNN reporter Pamela Brown. RIP Phyllis George

Falz writes to the Nigeria Immigration Service, concerning the transfer of the officers who recently took part in his Bop Daddy challenge.

Nigerian Rapper Folarin Falana aka Falz, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Nigeria Immigration Service over the transfer of five of its officers  who recently took part in his Bop Daddy challenge to remote area as a way of punishing them for taking part in the challenge. Following the action taken by the NIS, the rapper wrote to the body,  a letter addressed to the Comptroller-General in defense of the officers. The Nigeria Immigration Service, responded with a statement on their official Twitter handle, suspending the transfer of the officers. — Nigeria Immigration Service (@nigimmigration) May 15, 2020 Goal achieved. David Adeleke aka Davido, took to Twitter to celebrate his Uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke on the occasion of his 60th birthday. Senator Ademola Adeleke,  is Nigerian Politician and former gubernatorial aspirant of Osun State, who claimed he won the last election conducted in the state and his mandate was stolen from him.  Davido tweeted, "We thank God for the privilege of working with you on this mission to turn around the fortunes of the good people of Osun  Despite the numerous challenges you kept us focused & undeterred with your courage. Limpopo crooner, Kcee, announced that his wife has given birth to a bouncing  baby boy. The Music star made the announcement on his official Instagram account , and has named his new son, King Kwemtochukwu Okonkwo.

World cup winner, Alex Morgan gives birth to a baby girl.

Two-time women's World Cup winner Alex Morgan and husband Servando Carrasco have welcomed a new player to their team, announcing the birth of daughter Charlie Elena Carrasco on Saturday. Morgan tweeted that the baby was born on Thursday. "She made us wait longer than expected, but I should have known she would do it her way and her way only. My super moon baby," Morgan wrote. Morgan, 30, was due to give birth in April and said on ABC's "Good Morning America" earlier in the week that she hoped to give birth within the week. Morgan, who also won Olympic gold with the US women's team, announced that she was pregnant in October, when she said she still intended to play for the USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She did light training with the national team in February. But with the Tokyo Games postponed a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Morgan will have even more time to prepare.
